PayMaya’s Free Buyer Protect Insurance Can Refund Your Damaged, Incomplete, or Undelivered Online Shopping Packages
Press Releases March 16, 2022 Mecha Sushi 0
We’ve all heard horror stories about people buying something online, receiving a damaged item, and not being able to get their cash back or do anything about it. It can be really frustrating when it happens to you, especially since you’ve been looking forward to your purchase and you’ve probably spent good money on it.
You can now lessen your worries as PayMaya offers safe online transactions with Buyer Protect, a shopping insurance via your e-wallet at no additional cost. This safety net has been developed in collaboration with international insuretech bolttech, and underwritten by AIG Philippines Insurance.
What Buyer Protect does is offer coverage for your purchases with a minimum spend of Php 100 per transaction from legitimate online sellers and official stores on Lazada, Shopee, Instagram, and Facebook Marketplace, among others. If anything happens to your package—whether it’s damaged, incomplete, or undelivered—and the seller can’t refund, you’ll get your money back through insurance. That’s up to a maximum of Php 8,000 per valid claim, or up to Php 16,000 per year.
Take advantage of this offer by making sure that you have an upgraded PayMaya account and that you use the platform for your online purchases.
Check out PayMaya’s step-by-step guide on how to file a Buyer Protect claim:
- Hop over to https://www.paymaya.com/buyer-protect where you can download the claim form.
- Once you have filled out the necessary information in the form, submit it, along with the supporting documents at [email protected].
- All that’s left to do now is wait for the reimbursement in your PayMaya account in 7 to 10 working days.
