OPPO launches the midrange A57
GadgetsNews June 13, 2017 TWENTY8TWO 0
This year, OPPO has released the F3 and the F3 Plus, both of which are upper midrangers packed with dual selfie cameras. They’re undoubtedly great options for selfie fans looking to spend on a new phone. For those with tighter budgets though, OPPO has just launched the A57 midrange smartphone.
While it’s a slightly more “budget” option compared to the F3 series, the A57 is still a feature packed smartphone. The A57 features a 5.2-inch HD display that’s protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Below the screen is the fingerprint scanner that uses a hydrophobic zirconium surface, which designed to give the scanner a higher success rate when used with moist fingers.
As it is an OPPO phone after all, the A57 is packed with a 16 MP front camera. While it may not have a dual-lens setup, it still comes with a bokeh effect feature for selfies. For its rear shooter meanwhile, the A57 has a 13 MP, f/2.2 Sony IMX258 sensor that provides high light sensitivity for better night photography. It also has Phase Detection Auto Focus for speedy focusing times.
Performance of the OPPO A57 shouldn’t be a problem for general use, as it’s equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435, as well as 3 GB of RAM. It also has a triple-slot card tray, enabling users to use two SIM cards, as well as a microSD card up to 256 GB.
