A week or so ahead of the Manila Major, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has released that they are indeed the provider for the event’s gaming laptops and other peripherals. The Manila Major is Valve’s DoTA 2 event happening in the Philippines from June 7-12, 2016. It’s the biggest eSports event in the country, with a price pool currently at $7 million.
ASUS ROG recently released a limited water-cooled laptop, the GX700, but for the Manila Major, ASUS will be providing eight (8) G752 units, seven (7) GL552 units, and five (5) GL752 units for the Analyst’s Desk. gaming monitors will also be provided by ASUS. The 34-inch ROG Swift PG348Q, the 27-inch ROG Swift displays (PG278Q, PG279Q, and PG27AQ), and the ASUS VG248QE will be seeing action during the Majors as well as Wi-Fi routers, like the ASUS RT-AC88U gaming router to ensure blanket coverage.
An ASUS ROG booth will be present during the Manila Majors, with promos and freebies awaiting walk-in customers. ROG notebooks, desktops, motherboards, graphic cards, monitors, routers, and gaming peripherals will be available, as well as booth activities with prizes for customers.
The Manila Major will be happening from June 7 to 12 at the Mall of Asia (MoA) Arena.
