The pre-order period for the ASUS ROG Phone 3 is done and the handset is officially available for everyone. The ASUS ROG team hosted a livestream to reveal the new phone and its features a while back, and they seem very impressive for the third iteration.

ASUS ROG Phone 3: Features
Like the ROG Phone 2, the third generation ROG Phone has Gorilla Glass 6 for the front and full Gorilla Glass 3 back, which aids in durability while adding a bit of heft. At around 6.5 inches, the ROG Phone 3 isn’t the most pocketable smartphone, nor is it the lightest.
The ROG Phone 3 boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, the current standard in flagship-class smartphone processors today. Paired with up to 16GB RAM and the Adreno 650 graphics chip, the ROG Phone 3 can stand toe-to-toe with the other gaming smartphones out in the market.
The phone also features a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a definite leg up from the ROG Phone 2’s 120Hz. Games are definitely better-looking on the ROG Phone 3, and the faster refresh rate is a great experience for faster-paced games like Call of Duty Mobile.
Speaking of CoDM, he new and improved AirTrigger 3 also brings new features with dual partition buttons, and enhanced touch-sensor approaches that now even gives more options for actions in different motions.
Wrapping it all up, the ROG Phone 3 still comes with its monster 6000 mAh battery storage with fast-charging capability, plus 5G capable connectivity and WiFi 6 compatibility.
When it comes to peripherals, the ROG Phone 3 comes with new toys for mobile gaming enthusiasts to play with. The new Lighting Armor Case that supports Aura Lighting to flex that gaming aesthetic and add protection to your device. The Kunai Gamepad 3 now has more buttons and has improved its portability with a detachable grip. The TwinView Dock 3 has also been upgraded, now in an even better 144 Hz display. The new ROG Clip now lets you use your favorite gaming console controller and connect it to your ROG Phone 3. The phone also comes with its revamped version of the AeroActive Cooler 3, now with much better cooling performance and an included kickstand, as well as a new design of the Aero Case included in the box.
ASUS ROG Phone 3: Pricing and Availability
The ROG Phone 3 will come in three variants. The Classic Edition comes in 2– 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, will be available for PHP 54,995. The 12GB RAM version, also with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, comes in for PHP 49,995. Lastly, the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage is available for only PHP 39,995.
