ESGS day 2 is currently underway, and if you want to really immerse in the experience, then better head to the SMX Convention Center because there’s really so much to see–and you’ve only got until tomorrow to do so.
We did a quick tour of the four exhibition halls, and here’s what we saw:
The ESGS Main Stage
Catch the event’s special guests and watch fast-paced tournaments of your favorite games such as CS: GO.
The Road to Nationals
If you’re into esports and you’ve been following GG Network‘s DOTA 2 and Tekken 7 elimination tournaments for The Nationals, then it’s a must for you to drop by the Road to Nationals booth as they’re featuring the finals for these two games. Winners get to be drafted into the first Filipino esports franchise and take home a price pot totaling P1.2M.
Lost Saga
We recently reported that Lost Saga is coming to the Philippines this November. At ESGS, they’re treating fans and players of MMO brawlers to a preview of what’s to come.
Ragnarok Online
A year after its relaunch, Ragnarok Online, one of the first MMORPGS that touched Philippine shores, is once again back at ESGS with a lot of freebies and activities to new and returning players alike.
CAPCOM
The line to this booth may be long, but it’s definitely worth it! Get to experience first-hand two of the biggest games coming out in 2019: Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2.
Kojima Productions
Sure, we’re still trying to comprehend the odd trailers for Kojima Hideo-san’s Death Stranding, but at least we can indulge in his merch.
Republic of Gamers
Thinking of upgrading your rig? Get ideas from ASUS’s ROG booth.
Table Top Area
Veer away from the lights and crowds and chill out with some table top players, and maybe even learn a new trick or two about your game of choice.
Merchandise Area
Toys? Check. Hats? Check. Pillows? Check. Just make sure to keep your budget in check, too.
Artists’ Alley
No con is complete without your haul of commissioned artwork and stickers! Support local talent and drop by the Artists’ Alley for interesting finds.
