Fans of the PSP version will finally be able to check out Ace and other favorite characters in high definition, as Final Fantasy Type-0 HD gets the green light for its March release.

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong LIMITED has announced the release date for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for March 17. The game has been tagged with an SRP of P2,999, but that may change once the actual game lands and is up for grabs. The game follows the adventures of Class Zero as they defend their homeland when the forces of the Militesi Empire attack, and find out the secrets behind the war and the crystals that power each nation’s special abilities.

Pre-ordering the game nets you a steelbook, a collectible “art of the game” type of supplement.

As a bonus, getting Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will net you a playable demo of Final Fantasy XV, the franchise’s MMORPG game and the spiritual successor to Final Fantasy XIII. Final Fantasy Episode Duscae is worth about 1-4 hours of gameplay, depending on how much sidetracking/exploring you want to do. It’s specifically tailored to next-gen consoles and while you will not encounter bosses in the demo, FFXV director Hajime Tabata has mentioned that you will encounter something “more amazing than a boss” and “something Final Fantasy fans will really like.”

You can place your pre-order or grab the game come release time at GameLine, Game Gizmo, iTech, Game One Gadget, Gamextreme, and at Sony Center Megamall. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
