Fans of the popular ‘God of War’ franchise, take heed. Kratos takes god-killing to the PS4, as Sony Santa Monica just announced a port of ‘God of War III’ to the console.
Gamers at some point have tried out a ‘God of War’ game. It’s one of Sony’s most popular titles, and with good reason: the graphics are lush and present the best of the console they are on, the action-adventure nature of it is totally satisfying, and the gameplay basics are easy enough to learn. In short, the cutscenes are great, the gameplay is solid, and it’s a game for casual and hardcore gamers alike.
Sony’s move to make a remastered ‘God of War III’ is a good move to keep fans happy, thanks to announced 1080p graphics (hopefully at 60fps) and keep gamers on the current PlayStation console. Bringing nostalgia to the PS4 isn’t really enough, so here’s hoping Sony will put in additional goodies and value-added services to ‘God of War III Remastered’.
The game comes out on July 14 in the US and July 17 in the UK, with no Philippines/Asia announcement yet. However, we’re confident that the game will be released on our shores not too far along the Western release dates.
