Concept stores are a great tool for brands to increase their visibility to their consumers. It also allows them to have a place to “show off” their latest products and give the public a chance to try them out FOR FREE.
Case in point: Predator. The gaming brand has showcased their Thronos ultimate gaming chair, a five-foot tall metal beast designed for the most hardcore of gamers during CES 2019. The Thronos has a motorized cockpit for adjusting the screen setup. The reimagined gaming chair lets the gamer live inside the game with an adjustable ergonomic seat design, footrest, and a cabin that reclines up to 140 degrees all vibrating in sync with the sounds the games produce. The overhead brace supports not one but three 27-inch gaming monitors integrated with a Predator gaming PC and gadgets.
At P 699,999, you’d better not break the Thronos when you try it out, as it’s almost the same price as a new (sub-compact) car.
The best part of this is that you can experience sitting in the Thronos for free at the newly-opened predator concept store. Located at SM City North EDSA, Predator gets into the concept store game as it packs the 96 square meter store with its most complete line of gaming devices: from high-performance laptops, desktops, monitors, to professional-grade accessories, and of course, the Thronos gaming chair.
“Experience means everything for the Predator brand,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Predator Philippines Sales and Marketing Director. “We want to create an environment where gamers can see what incredible possibilities there still are on gaming by creating not only a hub for all their tech needs, but also giving them an immersive gaming experience.”
The store will also have its own service center where Predator owners can take their gaming rigs for overhauls. Services offered include Unit Diagnostics, Driver Installation, Software Repair, Memory Upgrading, and HDD Installation.
