ASUS has finally released the Zenfone 4 line of phones in the Philippines and while the many variants can be overwhelming, each serves a specific purpose – and market. For those who want their phones to last beyond the usual, ASUS has the Zenfone 4 Max.
Check out the specs:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor
3GB of RAM
5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 resolution
32GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB)
13MP primary rear camera with PDAF, 13MP 120 degree super wide angle, EIS, flash
8MP front camera with LED flash
4G, LTE
Dual SIM
WiFi, Bluetooth
GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS
Fingerprint Scanner
5,000mAh battery
Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI
The Zenfone 4 Max packs a beastly 5,000mAh battery capable of powering the phone for 46 hours on standby, and a little over a day of regular use. Not only that, this current generation Max also has the reverse charging capability of its predecessor, allowing you to have the flexibility of having an alternate powerbank in one device. In addition to the massive battery pack, the Max sports three cameras: for the rear set, you have a 13MP camera with Electronic Image Stabilization, and a 13MP 120 degree super wide angle lens while on the front, you have an 8MP lens with LED flash.
We think the Zenfone 4 Max can easily be a backup phone thanks to its dual SIM capability plus it supports 4G LTE. During times when the traffic is bad and you really need the juice, the Max can either charge up your office phone or main phone or you can switch to it in an emergency situation. For city travellers, the Max is a great phone to consider because you won’t be dependent on a power bank or a wall socket too much, allowing you the freedom to roam around with no real problems.
The Zenfone 4 Max retails at an affordable P9,995 and comes in Deep Sea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Rose Pink. The Zenfone 4 Max is now available at all ASUS retail outlets nationwide.
