Xiaomi sets Redmi 2 local release on April 28

The bunny is back and this time, Xiaomi is bringing the Redmi 2 to our shores through online retailer Lazada.
Mi fans only need to wait until April 28, 2015 when stocks of the new Redmi 2 will go live for sale via Lazada. Interested parties can click here to go to the official Mi website to check out more about the Redmi 2 and go directly to the Lazada order page.
The Redmi 2 has a 4.7 inch display but thinner than its predecessor, the Redmi 1S. It has dual 4G SIM capabilities and dual standby mode, which is perfect for those looking for a midrange, no-fuss device with a few surprises. A 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB flash memory come bundled with the device with a modest 8MP BSI rear camera and 2MP BSI front camera.
The Redmi 2 is priced at P5,999. The Mi Service Center near Greenhills Shopping Center is also open for business to answer your questions and accepts repairs for Mi devices.
